Instructions for applying UV DTF wraps:

  1. Wash your blank glass tumbler with hot soapy water and leave it to air dry. This will remove residue which will prevent your UV DTF from sticking to the tumbler
  2. Check to ensure the wrap fits your tumbler – trim excess if necessary
  3. Visually divide the wrap into 3 sections, then peel off backing from the first section only and cut off the peeled backing
  4. Position the wrap on your tumbler – please ensure you position it properly as the wrap cannot be moved/ removed once applied
  5. Use a vinyl squeegee or scraper to scrape the first section to ensure all air bubbles are removed
  6. Peel off backing from the second section and cut off the peeled backing. Gently push down on the wrap then scrape
  7. Peel off backing from the third section and remove the backing completely. Gently push down on the wrap then scrape
  8. Scrape the entire wrap again and once you are confident that all the air bubbles have been removed, gently peel off the transfer film

Troubleshooting:

UV DTF is not sticking to my tumbler

If this happens, more than likely there is some oily residue left on your tumbler. This could be residue from the factory or natural oils from our skin. Wash the tumbler with hot soapy watet and let it air dry. Do not use isopropyl alcohol.

UV DTF wrap cracks/ splits after applying

If this happens, you have applied too much pressure and stretched the wrap a little too much while applying. Stay relaxed while applying, and hold the wrap just taut enough to prevent air bubbles but do not stretch the wrap.

How do I remove an existing wrap?

UV DTF is very sticky so once applied, it is usually stuck. But you can try soaking your tumbler in hot water until the print softens, then scrape the prints off. Repeat this process until everything has been removed. Warning – it does require a lot of patience and elbow grease.
